How is it even possible? How can someone get bored by the internet? IT’S THE INTERNET. There are cat videos. I just googled “cat video” right now and there were 1,890,000,000 results. Are there even that many cats on the planet?
December is busy, even when I’m trying my damnedest not to be busy. And somehow, the real world feels more interesting that the internet. There must be something wrong with me. I’m in the middle of two or three books. I’ve been indulging in some happy, mindless crochet projects. I’m really busy with client work. Oh, and the holidays are coming up, so there is all that nuttiness.
And yet. With all the extra chaos this month, I’m actually feeling pretty focused. I have a list of everything I need to get done. I’m actually writing things on paper. With like, a pen and stuff. I have handwriting. When I think of something, I hurriedly write it down before my squirrel brain buries it.
As I get stuff done, I cross things off my list. What a novel idea. I can’t image anyone else has thought to do this. Is this what productive people do? Is this what people did before the internet?
Will there still be cat videos on the internet after I get everything done?
How about puppies attacking babies?
