I love reading the the Astoria Police press logs. They are not always so entertaining, and sometimes they can be a bit depressing. But often, they contain little gems that make me smile.

SUSP CIRCUMSTANCES
“Report of something making a grunting noise in backyard of the house. Reporting unsure of what it was. Officers located a seal in the backyard, aquarium contacted and advised.”
Can you imaging being the officer responding to that call? What a mess a seal would make in the back of a cruiser.
